Social Workers

We are here to help!

Today's students face many social and personal problems that threaten their ability to do well in school and inhibit their progress toward becoming productive citizens.

Children are affected by what is going on around them.

Children need support in healing from serious traumas as well as encounters with teasing/bullying or feeling like they don't fit in.

Without extra emotional support, students often have difficulty concentrating on their work, sustaining relationships, and handling feelings appropriately.

School social workers are the link between home, school, and the community.

Support Groups that meet during school hours:

  • Anxiety/Stress
  • Conflict-Resolution
  • Family Change (separation, divorce, step-families)
  • Friendship
  • Grief/Loss
  • Positive Behavior
  • Military Child Support
  • Concerned Persons (living with an alcoholic family member)

Please contact NicholeĀ or Jen for more information or to refer a student.
